    Description

It was 1998 and Apple was "betting the farm" on the debut of its first iMac - the iconic Bondi Blue. This was a revolutionary new "all in one" non beige-box computer. It was a "make or break" consumer product for Apple. It had a revolutionary G3 chip inside it and was promoted for its revolutionary shape, minimum of cables, no serial or parallel ports and a number of other "Think Different" components. I used to promote these for Apple at Fry's Computer stores in Orange County California. The day it was released to the public there was a massive crowd outside the store who wanted to come in and experience this new computer for themselves. People would come in a run their hands over the rounded shape and they asked a million questions. Most people loved it, some hated it but surely it was a milestone for Apple both from a public relations point of view as well as sales.
On the back of the T-shirt is Apple's iconic "Think Different" message.  This XL Hanes Beefy T T-shirt and some others that I have have been sitting in a drawer in a closet ever since that date. It has never been worn but has a slight discoloration...I guess the result of a fabric sitting for 25 years. This shirt has a small blemish indicated by the photo with the iMac and a penny. And the photo with the penny alone shows the size of the blemish.
